Trauma 201: Exploring the Legacy of Trauma
Each generation learns from the previous one with survivors often sending unintentional messages to children of anxiety, shame, distrust and existing in survival mode. The effects of transgenerational trauma are psychological, familial, social, cultural, neurobiological and genetic.
This workshop will take a broad view of the impact of intergenerational trauma while acknowledging that there are still discoveries being made in the study and approaches to healing that may have profound implications for the future.
Lakeside Global Institute will be presenting this Behavioral Health Services of Somerset and Bedford Counties (BHSSBC) sponsored training.
